Daniel best restaurant New York City • (by Ched Daniel Boulud) Tonight was my friend Michael Romei’s birthday and he hosted a dinner at this incredible french style restaurant in the Upper East Side called DANIEL. Of course being Michael, the Chief Concierge of the Waldorf Towers we got to the best seating area and treatment. But that is not what made this evening special, aside from sharing a lovely time celebrating his birthday, the atmosphere, the service and the own Daniel Boulud made the difference. Difference that I would risk to say along with their superb cuisine, ranks DANIEL as the TOP and number one restaurant in New York City.

The Main Dining room and the The Bellecour Room is decorated in a very french style, featuring beautiful rounded modern chandeliers that dominate the view and break the formality of its kind. A central area with balconies facing the charming room. A place to see and be seen.

Crispy Rice Dusted Kampachie. Eggplant Caponata, Paprika-Tahini Coulis. Aged Balsamic.

Cilantro Lime Macerated Papaya. Dacquoise, Meyer Lemon Confit, Guava Sorbet.
